Welcome to Moles and Rabbits (Y3) class page!
- Our teachers are: Miss Pallett (Moles) and Mr Bown (Rabbits), with Mrs Evans as our awesome teaching assistant.
- We have indoor PE on a Monday and outdoor PE on a Thursday (please come dressed for PE).
- Forest School will be on Wednesdays: Moles 1:10pm-2:20pm and Rabbits 2:20-3:30pm. Our final Forest School session will be both classes for the whole afternoon.
Autumn 1
Stone age to the Iron age
Within history we will learn how our ancestors lived over 10,000 years ago. We will learn how they survived and thrived in our local landscape. The challenges they faced and how over time they developed and began to use metal tools. We will learn how our ancestors’ lives changed from a hunter gathering lifestyle to a more settled farming life and the subsequent growth of communities.
Autumn 2
How wonderful is our world?
In this geography topic we will learn about our amazing world. We will learn about the continents and oceans. We will learn to use geographical terms such as equator, arctic circle and many more. We will learn about time zones and how to look after our earth.
