We Did It!
Thank you for all your donations.
£250 to buy a community filter has been given to Aquabox, Roman and Alicia pressed the donate button on Friday.
As part of our geography topic we have learned about mountains, volcanoes and earthquakes. We have learned that Mt Everest is in Nepal a country that suffers from the effects of earthquakes. One of the biggest dangers to children after an earthquake is dirty water. These water filters can help save lives.
At the end of half term we will be marking the ascent of Everest by Tensing Norgay and Edmund Hilary by trying to cover the distance ourselves. We will try to Walk the 8,849 metres in school in a relay. Please consider sponsoring us to help change other children's lives.
