Welcome to the Bee Class and Butterflies Class webpage for Foundation Stage 2.
The whole team are really looking forward to working with the children this year and we hope that you are able to support us too.

This year our PE day will be on a Tuesday, please send your children into school in their PE kits on this day.

A typical school day:
During FS2 the children have lots of opportunities to access the indoor and outdoor environment. There are lots of opportunities to explore with their friends, this may be in the water, small world area or make a model on the make and do. They will also have focussed learning time for Maths, Talk for Writing, Phonics, PE and Topic based activities.
As a school we follow the Little Wandle phonics scheme. This allows children to have a phonics session daily and 3 guided reading sessions throughout the week.
