In the Autumn Term, we will consider the question, ‘What is it like to live in the USA?’. We focus on where the USA is located in the world, looking at climates across the USA, as well as physical and human landmarks. We continue the topic by focusing in on the state and city of New York. This topic culminates in an opportunity for the children to explore their own research question based around the USA. They will have regular opportunities, throughout this topic, to develop their use of atlases and digital mapping skills.
