This term our topic is Toys (in my lifetime and changes beyond living memory).

We will be exploring our own toys, the materials they are made from and significant changes related to toys and materials in the past. All of this stems from our question - What toys did Granny play with?

Why not ask your child to describe...

• Which materials they know the names of and what where they can see these materials.
• How peoples lives and needs change as they grow from babies to adults.
• The different ways we could make puppets.
• The stories they know that have toys as the main characters.
• How they have been exploring the strength and other properties of materials.
• The inventions they know that have changed our lives.
