Week 7 Summer Term (2) Home Learning (13.07.2020)

This week is Farm week! 

The first story on the YouTube channel is 'What the Ladybird Heard' by Julia Donaldson & Lydia Monks.

Monday 13th July 2020

Today's Three Daily Things are;

  1. Play the animal sounds listening game -
  2. Make a farm animal using an old yogurt pot, cardboard tube or paper plate.
  3. Think of an animal beginning with s, a, t, p, i, n

Tuesday 14th July 2020

  1. Learn some farm facts by watching an episode of ‘Down on the Farm’
  2. Make some ladybirds with the same number of spots on each side. This is called ‘doubling’.
  3. Practise writing your name using a capital letter at the beginning and then lower case letters. Keep practising using correct letter formation!

The Little Red Hen

Friday 17th July 2020

  1. We have a fox family living near the pond at school. Make a fox using a paper plate or circle of paper/card. 
  2. If the Little Red Hen bakes 4 rolls and then 1 more, how many does she have altogether? You could draw a picture to help you work out the answer.
  3. Make some bread rolls with an adult.
