Hello Year 4. 👋
What have you been up to this week?
Here's what I've been doing:
Going on a daily walk with my husband trying to find new places to go to, weekly shopping trips but my favourite days of the week are Thursdays and Saturdays!
Thursdays because it's my day in school and a chance to see some our Bono children and have fun. Saturday's because it's quiz night with our friends, its great fun but unfortunately we've come last for the past 2 weeks! Hopefully we'll win this week!
I know lots of you have been busy, some answering Mrs O's riddles on Twitter and posting pictures of your work.
Kai did amazingly last week, completing all of his home learning. Joshua wrote a great book review for Dairy of a Wimpy Kid - Dog days, Alexia has been out in the sunshine exploring nature reserves!
Lots of you have been baking, gardening and creating too!
Keep up the hard work, all of you. Remember to have a go at the work and if you find something tricky leave it and move onto something else.
Keep calm and smile
Mrs Arrowsmith and the year 4 Team
Hi, here's just a reminder that you can use the resources below if you are struggling to get on line but also there are other online teaching resources you can access to support your child with maths.
Here are the ones we recommend:
1. WHITE ROSE MATHS - video's of lessons and activity sheets to complete. This follows the style used in school. Each lesson folllows on from the previous one. 4 lessons in a week.
2. NCTEM - Year 3 and 4 - video's of lessons (approx 20mins long) with activities included. These follow the same style as WRM teaching.
The lessons are put in blocks of topics e.g Fractions for this half term, each week folllows on to the next.
3. OAK NATIONAL ACADEMY - video's approx 20 mins long but the lesson starts and ends with a quiz and a worksheet is included. Each lesson being aprrox 45 mins in total.
