Good morning everyone. Welcome to Ice Cream week!

  1. What’s your favourite flavour of ice-cream?
  2. What flavour ice cream would these animals like best; a rabbit, a monkey, a horse?
  3. Think of rhyming words for these animals; dog, pig, cat, cow, mouse, frog.

  1. In the story, Granville doesn’t like vegetables. What’s your favourite vegetable?
  2. Make a picture at home with different numbers of ice cream scoops (see photo). Can you get all the way to 10? Can you write or trace over the numbers?

Daily Three Things are:

  1. Set up an ice cream parlour at home.
  2. Count out some pennies to use for your role play.
  3. Make some props to use - different flavour ice creams, toppings.

 

Thursday 2nd July 2020

  1. Write your name with ice cream sprinkles. You could use paper and glue or you could draw on a tray covered with sprinkles.
  2. Can you spot the 5 differences between the Curious George pictures. (see photo)
  3. Can you remember a lovely day out when you’ve visited an ice cream van? Share your memory with your family.
