Robin Hood Week

Tuesday 23rd June 2020

1. Make a lego maze for Robin Hood to hide from the Sheriff of Nottingham.

2. The Major Oak is a very famous tree in Sherwood Forest. Draw/colour/paint a big tree.

Wednesday 24th June 2020

  1. Play hide and seek. Which character could you be from the story? Robin Hood, Maid Marian, The Sheriff of Nottingham, Little John?
  2. Make a target board with a bullseye. You could draw/paint it on paper, fabric, outside on a wall with chalk. Use a ball or wet sponge to see if you can hit the bullseye! Can you score 10?
  3. Help an adult in the garden with a job. Watering, planting, weeding, tidying up.

  1. Find out 3 facts about trees.
  2. Leaf rubbing – place a leaf upside down on a table and put a piece of paper over the top. Rub across the paper with a crayon. 
  3. Find the biggest tree you can and measure it all the way round its middle with a piece of string, a measuring tape, wool.

Friday 26th June 2020

  1. Lots of animals live in Sherwood Forest. Can you think of 3 woodland animals?
  2. Make a paper plate or paper circle badger.

3. Get active! Balance like a bird, scurry like a mouse, run like a squirrel, slither like a snake, flap like a bat.
