Join Mrs Lamb for her final animal themed pobble365.com writing this week, from November 23rd.
What can you see? What is happening? Talk about the picture to an adult and construct your own sentence before having a go at writing it by yourself. Use your keyword sheet to help with words you already know and use the phonics you have been taught. Don’t forget to use a capital letter to start your sentence and finger spaces between words. Finish your sentence with a full stop.
In the video, Mrs Jones and Phonics Fred are sharing a story. You will need to listen carefully for some words that describe length and distance.
Listen for words that describe length (how long something is), width (how wide things are), height (how tall things are) and distance (how near or far things are).
Join Mrs Lamb as she models her writing for this picture from November 22nd on pobble365.com
What can you see in the picture? What are they doing? Have a think and talk to a grownup about it. Try to construct your own sentence about the picture then have a go at writing it yourself. You can use your keyword sheet to help and all the phonics you know. Remember to start with a capital letter, put finger spaces between words and finish with a full stop.
Who ever heard of a vegetarian T-Rex? In this story Reg doesn't eat meat like the other dinosaurs and feels different, but when his friends need him the most he is there to save them.
T-Veg is written by Smriti Prasadam-Halls and illustrated by Katherina Manolessou
What would you do if you were different to your family? Find out what Tyrannosaurus Drip did when he was different to the rest of his family.
Tyrannosaurus Drip is by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by David Roberts.
Join Mrs Lamb as she models her sentence writing for this picture from pobble365.com from November 21st.
What can you see in this picture? What are they doing? Talk about the picture with a grown up, try to construct your own sentence that you could write and have a go by yourself. Here is Mr Hughes reading The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter.
What would you do if you pet dinosaur ate your rocket that would take you back to Earth? Find out what Danny does with his dinosaur when they get stuck up in space.

Have you seen a shark before? What was it like? How would you feel if you saw one in the sea with you? Try to think of your own sentence for this picture and then have a go at writing it yourself using your keywords and phonics that you know.
Join Mr Hughes as he revisits using vowel digraphs ‘oi’ and ‘ear’. Can you blend and segment using these phonemes?
Start of by practising some tricky words and letter formation. Then have a go at blending some CVC words and recalling phonemes in flash cards. Then join Mr Hughes as he blends and segments using the two phonemes before having a go by yourself.
In the last video Mrs Jones and Phonics Fred started looking at numbers that were odd and even.
They said that if the number could be shared equally between two groups then it was an even number, but if you tried to share a number into two groups and they weren't equal [one left over] then it was odd.
In this video they will continue to explore odd and even numbers but this time they will be using a ten frame. After they've finished, why don't you have a go at home.
Mrs Lamb is back with some more writing. She will model her sentence for the picture from pobble365.com on November 13th.
What can you see in the picture? What is it doing? Talk to a grownup about the picture and see if you can think of your own sentence about it. Then have a go at writing about the picture yourself. Remember to use your phonics as you sound out the words, you might know some words already or you could also use you keyword sheet too.
Join Mrs Jones and Phonics Fred as they explore if numbers are odd or even.
Remember, a number is even if you can split it equally between two groups and both groups have the same number. A number is odd if you try to split it between two groups but one group has one extra in it.
Once you have watched Mrs Jones and Fred have a go, why not have a go at home using some objects [like dried pasta, toys etc]. See if you can find out all the numbers that are odd up to 10 and all of the even numbers too.
Join Mrs Hall as she continues to use her knowledge of phase 4 phonics to explore blending and segmenting words.
Have you read the story of the Three Little Pigs? This is the story of The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig by Eugene Trivizas.
You might recognise some parts of the story but some parts are a little different too. Can you spot what is the same and why is different?
