How did the Roman Empire become so powerful?

In this lesson, we will learn about how the Roman Empire became so powerful. We will begin by looking at what an empire is and then look at how the Roman Empire first began. Finally, we will learn about how it became the most powerful empire in the western world.

As you watch the video, you will need some paper and a pen as there are questions and activities to complete throughout. 
After the video, there's a quiz to complete about the rise of the Roman Empire.
