Hopefully you’ll be inspired by our collaboration-it’s far from finished but we’ve tried to follow the rules of pointillism and create our own scene from Venice.
Miss Hardy drew the scene of the Rialto Bridge and we took over from there.
What do you think?
Your activity this week is to have a go at creating your own Italian masterpiece. Choose an Italian landmark or scene that you particularly like. You can search on the internet for an image or use one from the topic and English work over the last few weeks. Maybe the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the colourful houses of the Amalfi coast or a Tuscan landscape... the choice is yours.
You might like to sketch it out first and then use pointillism. You could use paints or felt tips or even use an internet program and print it off.
Go for it!
Have a look at the BBC Art Ninja programme. I think you might recognise one of the techniques he uses.
After that have a look at the gallery and be inspired.
