English - Week 5
This week in English we are focusing on The Bee Movie, especially the main character Barry! By the end of this week you will know all about Barry and will use all of that information to write a character description of him. Below you will find teaching slides to help you and worksheets to complete. Don't worry if you don't have a printer, you can make your own on paper. We can't wait to read some of your character descriptions!
All we would like you to do today is watch The Bee Movie. If you have the movie on DVD great! If you don't the the DVD, don't worry... We've found 10 great clips of the film on youtube that show you the very best bits! Just follow this link or the link on the teaching slides.
Now's the time to start thinking about describing what Barry looks like! Open the teaching slides for more help and use the sheet to help you write some descriptive sentences about Barry.
Today you will be thinking about different parts of Barry's personality and what Barry likes and dislikes. Fill in the grid with all your great ideas!
Adults - there's a prompt sheet for you to help with ideas.
Today you will be writing a character description of Barry. Basically use all of your ideas from this week and put them all together in a paragraph. I've made a little reminder sheet of everything you should be remembering to put in your writing.
